A little of this and a little of that—plus plenty of good food—made their way to Instagram this week. If you’re not already following @ohsweetbasil, be sure to check us out on Instagram for updates and behind-the-scenes moments. We’ve got some fun things coming soon!

We hosted a relaxed breakfast meetup with a few blogging friends at my house. We ate, chatted, laughed—and ate some more. Super Healthy Kids brought a blueberry French toast casserole that I’m eager to recreate, and everything on the table was delicious. I can’t wait to host another casual gathering soon. These ladies are some of my favorites—be sure to follow them if you aren’t already.

I stopped by The Baby Cubby and spotted amber teething necklaces. We picked up a darker one to try, though I’ve heard lighter colors can be preferable—has anyone else tried both? I’m curious whether the lighter shade will make a difference. We’ll see how it works for us.

Our little guy—some of you call him “Wee Basil,” which we adore—has been testing out the Dock A Tot. We’ll share a full review soon after we’ve spent more time with it.

Of course I can’t resist posting more pictures of him. Our older girls love to put small toys in his hands and then narrate for him—“I was thinking of drawing Big Bird, but maybe I’ll do something fancier.” Their improvisations crack us up and fill the house with giggles.
He’s really into tummy time right now and fascinated by toys he can reach for. Cade and I are thrilled watching him grow and learn, but we’re also feeling sentimental—time is moving so fast and every milestone makes us want to pause and savor the moment.

We recently tried a breakfast fruit “pizza” that looks amazing and is definitely on the menu soon. It was inspired by a recipe we saw and has motivated me to refresh and retake photos of our own breakfast fruit pizza recipe—so expect an updated post in the near future.
