Hello everyone.
This is my final Christmas Treat recipe post for the week.
I’ll be taking a short break tomorrow,
and I’ll be back next week with
the last two recipes in the series.
I may have saved the best for last.
I hope you’ve enjoyed all the goodies so far!
Lucky for us, looking at tasty treats is calorie-free.
Pretty great, right?
These Peppermint Dipped Oreos are quick and easy to make.
No candy thermometer required.
No oven — nothing to bake.
They come together fast and look lovely wrapped as a gift.
Enjoy!

Ingredients:
– 1 regular package Winter Oreos
– 1 package white candy melts
– 1 package red candy melts
– 1 package peppermint candy canes
Candy melts are commonly available at large retailers and craft stores.
Directions:
1. Break or crush some of the candy canes into small pieces using a food processor, blender, or by placing them in a sealed bag and pounding gently with a rolling pin. Set aside for sprinkling.
2. Pour the white candy melts into a microwave-safe glass measuring cup or bowl. Heat on medium power in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until fully melted and smooth. Be careful not to overheat.
3. Place an Oreo into the melted white candy. Use a spoon to fully coat the cookie, then lift it with two spoons and allow the excess coating to drip back into the cup. You want a thin, even layer rather than a heavy coating.
4. Set the coated cookie on a sheet of wax paper or parchment. Smooth the top with the back of a spoon if needed, then immediately sprinkle with the crushed candy cane pieces so they stick to the melted coating.
5. Repeat the melting and dipping process with the red candy melts, heating in the same 30-second intervals until smooth. Dip additional Oreos in red coating as desired.
6. For a decorative finish, drizzle contrasting candy melts over the dipped cookies. Use a spoon or a fork to drizzle thin lines, pour small amounts for swirls, or gently spread to create patterns. Playful designs add a festive touch.
7. Allow the cookies to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or until the candy coating is firm. Once set, they are ready to eat, gift, or package for later.
Tips:
– Use a glass measuring cup for melting; it retains heat evenly and makes stirring easy.
– Work quickly when sprinkling candy cane pieces so they adhere while the coating is still wet.
– If the candy hardens in the cup, gently reheat in short intervals and stir until smooth again.
